This past Tuesday I went to NYC back and forth in one day. I was exhausted the next day and with a terrible back pain, but my baby was home and I couldn't stay away from her. She and her dad did pretty well alone and the house was in very good shape when I returned (no dirty dishes, no toys on the floor, the baby sleeping). Well, maybe I'll go away more often :)
Last week we received beautiful flowers from my office and Eli and I have enjoyed them very much. They have already lasted a week and still look very fresh and alive!
Tomorrow Friday, grandma Joyce is coming home and will be with us for a few days. We are very happy she is coming and I'm pretty sure we'll all have a great time.

And talking about flowers, Greg gave me this plant last year but it got some sort of fungus and was almost dead...who would have thought that it would be this pretty now! We were ready to throw it away.
